Trucks in the Shop P2440

Or rather the ARP fix. Just rolled 68,000 and got the limp mode and CEL code. Thankfully they stood by a bad product and upped all warranties to 150,000 miles or ten years. Its also sad that I know more about this problem then the service manager working at the dealership lawls.

$2200!!!! It should be under extended Warranty from Toyota up to 150,000 miles or 10yrs.
It will take 3 days to get the parts!

Get your money back. It's still way under warranty.

I think I am going to get one of those bypass gizzmos. I want to keep this truck a looong time and cannot afford to replace those puppies if they blow again after 150K

Well if it's a problem with the truck i think if they to fix it once on your truck they should have to fix it again. That is messed up that they fix it once and don't the next time!!!

Just got the truck back. Would have been $2600 for:
Pump Assy, Air, Valve Set. Emissions, Inlet, Ir Pump, Grommet screw, Clip......Glad they extended the warranty to 150K miles and 10yrs!!
Now I know why I hate to take my vehicle to the stealership. They told me the cabin air filter was dirty (I changed it last week), The transmission fluid was "discolored" (Had The BG tranny/fluid exchange about 5k miles ago), front and rear differential fluids were "discolored (changed them about 20K miles ago with Redline Synthetic) They wanted $880 for this "maintenance package"...No thank you.
