Bridgestone duellers

5800 miles on the yota and I had both front tires going flat so I took it to the local station to get them patched. then the right front tire sidewall some how tore so I tossed it and used the spare tire for the replacement. Next the left front tire starts going low so I took it to toyota this time and told them the whole rigamaroll and the looked at it and found that the "valve stem was loose" so they said. The same tire was still going flat so it went back and they couldn't find any thing wrong. Them dirty ass bags at Forts Toyota wouldn't even get me a new tire for my troubles So now I drive my truck for 3 days and then fill my tire up. Me my dad and my wife have all bought our cars there and now I will never go back there because the service manager is a ass hole and couldn't even take care of my tire problem.

Pin holes the first time from driving in weeds I guess. This time I dont know why they are just loosing air, thats why im pissed. I'm getting new ones this week its just the point that Toyota should have just floated me a new tire but they had to be tight asses about it. the tires are junk as you can see people on this site say they have bad luck with them also.

Jack I guess I'm the opposite. I have the same with 36,600 miles on them and no problems so far. The thread is wearing even also. Now I do know I have a different tire height than some others. Mine are P275/65/R18 where the other tires I bought off ebay and my spare are P275/70/R18. I do prefer a lower profile but what I got is okay.

I do know what you mean there jackbear. I've been having the same problem with mine. the techs said eveything was fine, they unmounted, and remounted the tires, so it hasn't happened since I took the truck out of the shop, but it was a constant issue for me every 3 days the light will come on, and i'd have to fill up.

I had side walls comming apart after only 3 days of owning the truck. It started with the LF, then the LR, then the RF. I took it to the dealer and got the run around. This went on for like 10 days. They first asked me if I bought their road hazzard plan, I told them no, they then told me my problem was a road hazzard then they told me to go to a bridgestone dealer, and so on.
They kept passing the buck. I then got TOYOTA involved, that put some heat under their ASS. The phone number to Toyota is in your owner's manuel . Call them and report this experience. You will get some results. I got a whole set of tires replaced.

Actually guys no dealer likes to replace tires. Look at your warranty for tires in the glovebox. They want you to go to the tire dealer and argue with them. I think the reason for that is the different tires on the different types of trucks/models put out.

I had a 98 Silverado 3rd door Ext Cab which had only 800 miles on it and I had a left rear go flat. I took it off and tried to fill it with air and it came out as fast as it went in. It had a straight up and down slice on the inside wall of the tire. It was a Uniroyal Tiger Paw. Dealer wouldn't do a thing so I looked up where uniroyals were sold at and went to Discount Tire. The salesman stated for $19 I can get total coverage and with that claim that tire and it was replaced. On top of that they gave me lifetime coverage. When the tires wore down they replaced all four for free. Couldn't be beat for $19.

I found a new nail in my lovely set of tires, my light came on this morning, so when I went to fill it I noticed this small flat head, not worn, just small, and it was about 96% in.

America's Tire Store
Tires cost less than even Costco with the annual $60.00 discount.
Road Hazard replacement guarantee
balancing and rotation

In a few miles when the BFG's wear out, or the vibration from the 'cupping' on tires with 20,000 miles on them drives me nuts.....
I'll go back to Michelins.
On the Dakota I had a set last 163,000 miles. Bridgestones got 118,000 and Goodyears 95,000 miles.
