I'm very close to buying myself a Tundra Crew Max 5.7 4x4 and was wondering what has been fixed so far of the problems that have been discussed in this forum?

get a CrewMax!

no real issues changed .. few reported cases of cracked camshafts in the 07's .. and i like that they placed the rear sliding window switch to the right of the steering wheel rather than the left.

Welcome to the forum.
There are a few things with the 07 and there is not reason the 08 will be any better when it comes to paint problems and rust issues.

Well change of plans on the color, could not get the Radiant Red till end of August so I went ahead with the Pyrite Mica instead it's a very classy looking colour.
