Double vision in drivers mirror....need help!

Truck is an 07 limited double cab 4 door. Immediately after buying the truck I noticed the drivers mirror had a double vision effect to it on the inner half of the mirror when there are lights in the mirror. This is especially annoying (and probably unsafe) during night driving. I took my truck into the dealership and the service guy i was dealing with could not see what I was referring to, partly cause he never drove the truck that evening to see headlights behind the truck. He pulled another truck around for me to look at and see if I could see this as well in the other and low and behold it was there too!! It was definitely not as noticable on the other truck as in mine but it was there. It is almost as if the mirror is not flat, or possibly the autodimming portion is refracting light at a different angle, I don't know but it's definitely NOT how it is suppose to be! The dealer then told me it would be useless to order a new mirror if the other truck had the same problem so I was sent away with them telling me they would look into the issue and contact Toyota. I haven't heard back and that was 3 months ago. Anyone else had a similar issue with their mirrors? This is the limited chrome mirror with the heated glass. NOT the tow mirrors. Thanks in advance!

Brett
