Please insert map DVD, otherwise I'm completely BLOCKED !!

Hi everybody,

I'm facing a very strange problem with my navigation system.

A message appeares on the touch screen "Please insert map DVD" even the DVD is inserted !

The problem is, I can't do anything before this message disappeares (no CD player, FM, bluetooth connection, etc. )

I'd appreciate your assistance.

Kind regards,
Robert

Map DVD

Have you tried removing the DVD cleaning it and replacing it?

Robert:
Were you ever able to get the problem resolved? I have an 07 CM Ltd and my nav unit has just recently begun to do the same thing (when starting up, it behaves like it doesn't have the map DVD in it, even though the DVD is still/already inserted), and before I visit the dealer, I'd like to know whatever background info there might be out there on this problem...
