Fan Blade noise

Has Anyone Had A Problem When You First Start The Truck You Hear A Noise Coming From The Front Of The Truck And Sounds Like The Fan Blade Is Hitting Something. Then The Sound Goes Away. The Sound Only Seems To Happen Either First Thing In The Morning Or If The Truck Has Sit For A Period Of Time.

You Know How Tundra's Sound When You First Start The Truck And It Ildes Higher Until It Becomes Warmed Up. Should I Make The Dealer Take Care Of It?

I don't have any noise. Have you looked under the hood right when you turn it on? It might not even be the fan. If it is, it might be something simple. Good luck.

Try raising the hood turn over the engine and walk in front to narrow it down. This way you can show and tell the dealership.

i think if you read owners manual it has something to do with the traction control doing a self test . i read something in the manual about a self test on something when you first start truck up coming from under the hood . hope this helps .

My dealer told me it was the air pump making that noise so obviously mine makes that sound as well. Normally when it is cold and on initial start up.

I have had the same noise. I let my truck sit for about 5 days and when I went to start it, there was this metal rattling sound that comes from the right side of the engine compartment. It only lasts for a second or two.
