smell burning oil

got an 07 TRD 4x4 w/ 5.7L with 13K miles. I smell something burning when I stop after truck comes up to temp - smells like oil. but no leaks and not burning oil out the exhaust? Anyone had similar experience?

Change the oil lately?

Bought it used and just got it home today. That was my first thought - a little spillage during the oil change. Do you know of anything else that could cause that?

sounds like either youre due for an oil change or someone spilt oil during a change recently .. see if you have the same problems after driving it a few days

Smoke's coming from under the hood. I'm thinking just spilled oil (from a recent oil change). Guess I'll wait a few days to see if it goes away
