Air bubbles

My black 08 dc has air bubbles at the front of the bed on both sides from the plastic film i had it to the dealer and they replaced the plastic but it still has air bubbles in it anyone else had this happen

I'm confused on the visual....are the bubbles in paint or the bed-liner....or where?

You mean the plastic film on the outside bottom of the bed to stop rock chips????

Mine had one of those things with air bubbles as well. The dealer replaced it.

IF that is what you are asking about.

I think the area is above the step rails on the lower part of the body where there appears to be clear tape !

that's right where they are i will try to take pics but i'm not sure they will show up the dealer said they did all they could do and i would have to talk to the reginal rep

It's pretty sad that you have to talk to a Rep. , because the dealer can't put on a piece tape !

I had air bubbles between the clear tape and the paint also. It is very hard to get all the bubbles out because of the texture of the paint in that area. They replaced mine and still had some bubbles but better. They gave me a sheet for free and said you can try yourself, which I did and found it very hard with the surface in question. In the end its better but not perfect. Good luck.

i wouldnt be able to settle like that .. mine would be replaced until perfect
