Why should any of us? I've posted only a couple of messages since becoming a Tundra owner in March. If I have a problem, will I be called a liar because I've only posted 3 or 12 messages?

I think the better answer would be to those who have posted several hundred messages to GET A LIFE!

I see these people with hundreds of posts per month and I start hearing that Brad Paisley song, "I'm so much cooler online".
I think it paints a pretty good picture of what you are usually dealing with.

SXD45, Hawaii 5.7, you guys got me

sxd/hawaii: I've been a memeber for months, just waiting to post lies, and then you busted me. You guys are too much.
Mickey: I had another problem with the truck when it was brand new, a cracked brake rotor. Dealer has been good about fixing problems. I did have a complaint the last time the trans went south, it took them almost 2 weeks to fix it (guess they were waiting for a part/parts).
Ramoine: who are you refering?
SpankyDD: my dealer said they have replaced transmissions in 08 tundras before.

I don't argue that the facts that no vehicle is trouble free forever , but to join a forum just to post the bad things and complain all the time is not what a forum is about .

They should go and start a blog on myspace if that's all they intend to do , just my opinion .

Just got notice my from the shop that my Tundra is done. They said the problem was more to do with the shift linkage and not specifically the tranny.

I can tell you that we come here to talk about our Tundra's, share modifications, information, pictures, tech tips, etc. We even like to have fun and poke fun at each other on occasion (what a concept, people being friendly?)

Yes problems do arise with the Tundra's as with any vehicle. When it does, we discuss it and try to solve it.

98% of people who come here are nice, helpful, interesting and make good posts.

Yet others will come along and just whine, complain, never post anything positive or helpful information, and just basically piss on everything and wonder why nobody wants to help them. Very sad.

If you don't like the site, don't come here, nobody's forcing you. The other helpful members will get along just fine.

You forgot to mention those who come here, at least to this post, to call others a liar.

Easy People...... I love my tundra and I am not here to complain just wanted to see if any of you noticed or had anything wrong with your transmissions, that's it. Also I wanted to get the word out before your warranties expire. Anyway, my new transmission is in and NO rumble strip, thank god, I hope no more problems like my old faithful tacoma
