Very funny....Had my homemade CD's get stuck in my F-150 and they tried to say that's not covered and it will cost me until I showed him the owner's manual stating it can play homemade cd's. Need I say more? I told him some people do read there owners manual thank you....

Dealer has my truck right now. Said they would "look into it". That leaves me with a eerie feeling. every time the GM dealer said that they did nothing and charged me for it.

Actually they may pull the radio out and say Yep it's a radio meaning they looked at it. Yes that will be $75 please.

Too true Mikey. I got plenty of those horror stories from GM for my Olds. Hoping for more from Toyota.

Two things that supprise me that they replaced was my center console which was a small adjustment they replaced the whole thing. The other was when my two lug bolts broke off one had the lock nut on it they replaced the lock set with a new one for free. $80 for that set.

That's why I'm in shock about it. Not like GM and Ford.

Not to mention they only asked if I put my lug nuts by impact, and where was my old key the tech looked in glove boxes. Laughing I told him in the ash tray and no look under pass rear seat you see 4way. Then I pump my arms and said this is the impact. When I rotated my tires this past weekend that a** tech impacted then on there so tight I had to turn on my compressor and look for my impact to get them off. I know they're not tightened to specs. They will get an ear full when I go there again.

I'm taking mine to the dealership Monday to get the radio "looked at", the running boards put on and the bug shield.

The radio shuts off on average of 2-3 times a day, sometimes within minutes of each other.

You shouldn't have a problem with the radio. That's just a simple replacement. Usually no questions asked.

Mickey, It's really too bad that some techs you really got to watch. You would think they would know not to use an impact on lock nuts

I agree it's a certain amount of FT LBS to they are torqued to. I hardly use my compressor much less impact. That's how you cut your lugs and guess what? RUST.
