when you fill your tank, do you top off the fuel or stop when the pump cuts out? i made the mistake of topping off the tank on my old tundra and set emission codes and it never got fixed till they replaced the charcol canister. they tryed cleaning the it but it kept setting the codes after the 2 or 3 starts. i learned my lesson on that issue.

I hear you. I went throught that scenario with my F-150. Manufacturers don't want you to go pass that pump cut out. By filling up the tube causes a sensor to go off. Hopefully they can come up with something better.

Understand but the manufacturers say this as an excuse for the sensors going off instead of checking further.
