heater not working

Need help on a heater problem.for a 2000 tundra V8. Fan blows air and A/C works well, but when the heater is on the air never gets very hot. In fact I think the air out of the defrost is always cold while the air from the floor is luke warm. Any thoughts on what is the problem and Is it a easy fix or is mechanic needed

Sounds like your blend door actuator went out. You may have to pull the dash depending on which blend door it is. If you are mechanicly inclined then you be able to replace it but if not then definitly have a mechanic do the job. The dealer may charge and arm and leg due to the intense labor required.
