Thumbs up gas mileage

I took my new CrewMax TRD 4x4 on a 330 mile trip this Saturday. 40 miles of interstate, concrete, football game traffic, stop and go, 2 lane backroads as well. When I got home, I checked the mileage on the computer, 18.1 MPG.........I was amazed........don't get me wrong........during 100% city driving it is around 14 but 18.1 out of this beast, I'M HAPPY........my old Titan NEVER got over 15, ever.

As for the rough ride, yeah it's bumpy on rough roads, but it has TRD.......that setup will do what it is designed to do offroad.......it can't be smooth also........I'm pleased

Put a cold air breather on and add up to 2 mpg... I added and AFE cold air breather and I went up from 17 to 19.5 and if I did under 60 over 20mpg. I tried on a trip just to see the conservative 55 and got 24.7 mpg. Of course flat interstate and no traffic.
