Paint protection film

Has anybody used the paint protection film they sell on ebay starting at $9.99? They have a kit for the Tundra, it is 8 mil. I know you get what you pay for, but I think they're using the volume approach. I think I will try it, just wanted to see if anyone else had.

Yeah i bought some a while ago... its difficult to put on yourself unless you have experience.. i didnt so i had to order another and hire a vinyl company to install it. its hardly noticeable... you can see the line where it stops and the paint begine but not really... the kit i bought was for the entire front end of the vehicle.. including bumper and side of the fenders... hood.. about a foot to a foot and a half from the front.... it came precut and it fit the vehicle... with maybe half an inch of room between the film and body line... im glad i bought it though.. hope this helps

seen the ebay stuff, and almost want to spend the 15 on it to see the quality, most likely not anywhere near 3M

I Work At A Tint Shop And The Instalation For The Clear Bra Kit Is Not Easy Most People That Bring Those Kits Into The Shop Say They Tried It And Didnt Want To Deal With It. If You Havent Done It Before Bring It To A Shop That Does This. In My Opinion It Will Save U Some Stress. I Did It On My Cm Looks Great But There Are Some Chalenges. If U Want To Try Ill Try To Give You Tips
