update on dash vibration/rattle

I've had the Tundra to the DEALER for the third and final time for this problem! My poor dash won't take any more abuse. It quiets down for a day and then it's the same old problem. However, now I've got a new crunchy/clicky plastic sound. My replacement radio works good so I'm just going to leave it on all the time so I don't hear this noise. I'm disappointed but things could be worse. The DEALER confirmed it's a poor design and the plastic securement system enhances the problem. Cost me three days pay for my DEALER visits, hope thats the end of that!

I just got a Tundra 2 weeks ago, and my dash has been buzzing non stop. I can't take it anymore...like some kind of chinese buzz torture or something. 2 trips to the dealer have solved nothing.
Just searched on the internet and it seems to be a common problem, so you would think they could fix it. It comes from the front right area where the dash meets the windshield.

Dealer couldn't sovle my rattle either, so I fixed it myself. I noticed on mine the dash seemed lower on the passenger side than the driver's side. So I took out the glove box and stuffed a rag between an air vent and the dash. Now my dash looks level and no more rattle.
A shame I had to do it myself though. I am really disapointed with the dealer.

Mine just went in for the same problem. It was a little lower on the passenger side. My dealer had a fix for it. They put a new support in on that side and then felted it so it won't rattle. They said the factory support is set back to far from the side which allows it to slide down on the passenger side. They told me they have been just fixing every truck that comes in with this issue even if the customer isn't complaining.

Could be worse when the factory rep accuses you 3x of pulling headliner down and I was the only problem along with the dealership fixed these problems to appease me. BALONEY!!!!

In 76-77 we called it "Dum-Dum" it was 3M Strip calk. It would stop all rattles.

Any way you can put me in touch with your dealer? I have described the problem and potential solution to mine, but they say they need to do more "research". BTW - I agree with the poster who mentioned "Chinese Buzz Torture"...this thing is killing me
