Radio Problem

Has anyone else had this problem yet?...
My 6 cd changer will not eject the discs out properly. Hit the eject button, listen to a lot of whirring noise, the disk pokes it's edge out of the slot and does not fully eject. I have to slip a key or something thin in on top of the disk and apply pressure to get it out. Tonight I thought it was finished, because it was whirring like crazy, not even poking anything out. It continued making noises after turning the truck off. It finally quit Guess it's time for a trip to the dealer .

I have not used the multi load yet, but my cd's ejection does not make a sound.

I will try the multi load this weekend and if I have a problem it will see the service department.

Good luck

I have mine all loaded up with discs and they eject properly, you might want to show the service dept.

Is it a CD you burned yourself? Does it have a label on it?

The manual says these discs may not feed and eject properly.

No disks have had a label on them and I have had prob's w/ both store bought and burned. Thanks for the manual reference. Didn't look there yet. Seems wierd that you might not be able to use burned disks. I will try both again tomarrow.

I had an 05 F150 with a factory 6disc, and that thing hated discs. Wouldn't take em, and when it did, it wouldn't give em back! Had a Mustang drop top before that with the same problem.

I don't think they work that great...they get gummed up, overheated, etc., and then they fail...I wish someone would put a USB port and a few GB's of flash memory on a factory deck. Then you could just upload all your music to the dash and never think about it again. AND, I bet it wouldn't cost more than the 6 disc mechanism.

Good luck with the changer.

mine ejects fine, but it will not load a disk into the #5 spot. No matter what i try, it just throws the disc in any empty slot other than #5. Just one more thing to complain to the dealership about.. my list grows....

Well, the new radio is going in next Tuesday! Dealer didn't question it at all, ordered me a new one. They did look at the issue while I had an oil change.

Radio update!!!! New radio has been installed. Works fine, took dealer about an hour to do! Had some nice complimentary cookies and coffee, and read a nice brochure on the new Jag XJR Super 8!

Angry radio

new issue... as i was driving the other day, the volume control quit working. turned it off and on, no help. shut off the truck, no help. so i resorted to the cave man idea and tapped the radio...score! starting to think its time for another trip to the dealership
