Bad service at a dealership........

My Dad has been in the market for the 07 crewmax. He found 1 locally in his color options. Called and said that he would be in saturday to pick it up. (This was on Thursday and the numbers had been worked out ) So he goes in Saturday, and they sold the dam truck. Then the guy tries tio get him into another color. He says his piece of mind, and goes on his way. Well, no where around here ( bay Area,CA ) is the color and options he wants. Then said dealer calls back on Monday, saying they have another in, that is a demo model. Correct color and options. SO after a little debating on price, he tells the guy that he will be back in town fri to pick it up, and is more than willing to come down now to put a down payment on it. Dealer says that it's not needed. So Friday comes, my Dad calls and says he is coming in to get it, well, the dealer says, it's a demo truck and one of our guys has it for the weekend, and the truck will be back on saturday. So, Saturday comes, Dad calls guy in the afternoon and guy says, well, it's still not here + the truck would still need a full detail. So after that, Dad tells the dealer this is the sh**iest service he has ever had, and he can stuff the truck where the sun doesn't shine.Seems like the employees would rather drive the truck around then get the sale.

Longo Toyota in El Monte, to my opinion the best service. they also have a large mall type parking lot in the back filled with all kinds of vehicle options, if you don't like what you see on the show floor you'll definately find it in the back. I would highly recommend it.

Had some bad experences with Longo. See rant on other post. Sorry blackdemon, not attacking you.

no biggie, I understand, i replied to your last post, but not attacking you either, I guess its everyone's different experience with different people, or salesmen, sometimes you just have to choose. By far the worst dealership is Downtown LA Toyota, I was told I couldn't afford a Celica, and when I made the mistake to go for service they didn't even place my under plastic properly, needless to say I lost it somewhere in the highway. Again, just expressing my opinion, don't mind if anyone counters what I say, I'm just putting out my experiences.

worst delaer is GOSCH toyota in hemet ca i am an employee right so i go pick out my truck labor day weekend they come to the table witha price of 24 an change well i then said im an empoyee thinking they would hook me up the came back with a quote of 28995 so the next day i went to toyota of temecula and bout mine for 26534 how sad is that and i left the paper plate on til i got in trouble
