Had it done when i got my oil changed and tire replaced after someone slashed it... Dont notice anything different except when i shut the truck off it makes a mechanical noise now. Unsure of what it is however, it doesn't sound like the AIP's.

Got mine done today, service advisor was explaining that the reflash may or may not fix the intermittent cranking problem I was having, when the tech walked up and said he had a newer Tundra and that it would fix FFV and cranking issues as long as the person doing it installed correct program. The tech also stated that I would hear the air pumps running after shutting off, I'm assuming this is Toyota's fix for moisture control and FFV sensor related issues???

I had my 2012 Rockwarrior done a couple weeks ago. It's the standard 5.7 no flexfuel, my service adviser told me that toyota typically packs other adjustments in these reflashes they don't tell you about. Well having the secondary air pumps running more has definitely improved the way my truck runs as well as a little gain in fuel economy. The biggest changes I noticed were that my VSC barely kicks in at all anymore to the point that I have to make it happen and also when towing with cruise control on it shifts a lot smoother and not so aggressively.

I took my 12' Crewmax (with a 5inch lift) in to the dealership on Aug 17th to get the free 20,000 mile service performed and told them to do the ECM update while they had it. When I went to pick the truck up I noticed all of the warning lights indicating a ZPC would need to be done. So I went back in and had the service manager take a look. He pulled the truck back around and after an hour told me they would need to keep my truck a bit longer to get the issue resolved. It's now the 21st and I'm still driving the loaner vehicle. I never had a single issue with the truck, or the lift, or needed to do a ZPC post lift. Now I get the software upgrade and this happens....
Anyone else having similar issues?

+1 on the VSC. I was going up a very steep long gravel hill the other night, and it would not kick on at all. I even hit the lock button, and it was sliding all over the place with both tires going. No lights, and not kicking in.

never got the letter but they notified me about the fix when I picked mine up from the dealer today, strangely enough I took it in last month and they didn't do any of that for me. Well word does take longer to travel through regular mail
