Question How to replace power outlet Cigarette lighter fuse

I found the "Tundra 2007 Fuses by Electrical System Compiled by Daless2" How do I check the 150A LH-J/B fuse. Do I just remove the bolt? see pic. the fuse I'm talking about is under the black plastic.

I connected a Cobra 400W (120V) power inverter and now the power Cigarette outlet doesn't work. I assume this is the reason. I don't have the 115V just the 12V I think. I don't have any wall outlets just two cig type outlets that say 12V.

I would check the cig and accessory fuses under the kick panel 1st. They are less amps and would blow 1st. Look up and behind hood release to find kick panel fuses w/ a list of each on cover. Use a test light if available much quicker since you don't have to pull fuses, just touch the 2 small strips at top of fuse

a 400 watt power inverter would not blow the 150 amp fuse...

that 150 amp fuse powers wayyy more than the 12v outlet.

the wire for the outlet wouldn't even handle near 100 amps lol. it would burn down.

Is there anything else that is not working? If everything else is working it is definitely not the LH-j/b 150a that also controls panel lights, ECU-IG, tail lights and a lot of other stuff. If you don't have a test light, buy one for like $10 and check all kick panel fuses, remember a fuse can be bad with out it looking bad. If all fuses check ok, you may have burned up the outlet or the power wire to the outlet, not very likely though. Think of it like a breaker box for your house you have to check all the smaller breakers and rule them out 1st before going to the main breaker and that 150 amp fuse is one of the main breakers. Let me know if you need more help, I have a complete fuse breakdown in my 08 manual

Everything else seems to work. When I connected the inverter just the outlet on the dash wasn't working. The other one in the center console was working untill I connected the inverter to that one as well. So I'm thinking you may be wright. It may be a wire. If it were a fuse both of them would of been out.

Those fuses under the dash/kick panel are a bitch to check out. You have to pull the fuses to see if they are actually blown.

Glad its working for you.

You do know that the cigarette plugs are on a timer, don't you? I think somewhere around 2hours and they turn off.
