08 Crew Limited - Tint and N-Fabs so far

I've had it just a couple of weeks, got the tint and the NFABS installed. Borla exhaust goes on tomorrow morning and Toytec lift should follow within a couple of weeks. Then wheels and tires, most likely 20" KMC XD's or one of the American Racing variations, black with 305/55/20's all around.

Well the Borla got installed this morning, took them about 40 minutes start to finish. I like the sound, I had Borla on my F150 so I knew what I was in for, no drone, not too loud and a nice mellow tone. I have had Borla products on several of my cars, Saleen Extreme, Xr1 race mufflers on my 347ci 66 Mustang and the cat back on my F150.

Good stuff. After 8 years on my F150 I had one hanger break and the shop that installed it replaced it for free so no complaints.

Next is the lift and I am still trying to decide which one to get. Leveling kit most likely.

C'mon Dez, that thing has probably never even seen a small mud puddle. Wait until I get mine lifted and some skins on it and us good ole' boys from the midwest will show you what is the baddest......

You LA pimp player wanna be off roader

Bow season opens mid September and I'll post pics by mid October with a big old dead monster buck in the back of mine, blood running down the tail gate and all..... You can show it to all your friends at your next PETA meeting while you eat your TOFU....

I guess your smallish 12" lifted truck is kind of bad....

What us guys from the midwest don't understand is all these guys lifting 2WD trucks (yours is a 4X4 right?), it just makes no sense. It's like tubbing a 68 Camaro with a 6 banger..... I guess it is the pre-runner look right? 2WD with a 6inch lift and a light bar?????

I'm just having some fun and based on your other posts I'm assuming you have a sense of humor..... I get out to So Cal quite often on business, I'll look you up next time so I can see that bad truck of yours.

Hahaha, good stuff man! Ya this is my first 2x and due to the hellish wheather right now I haven't been able to take it anywhere. I'm also still waiting for Deaver to come up with a softer rear end for me, I'm about ready to give up on em and look elsewhere. I measured the stock hieght of another Tundra yesterday and I'm 16" taller than stock in front and 13" in the rear. 2010 or 2011 I'll be building a Monster 4x Tundra again. Once I get the softer rear end I'll drop the front, change the springs and get her closer to a prerunner height. Right now I'm having a blast as a street monster. By all the looks I get on a daily basis I've become quite an excellant lip reader. Have a good one ya jealous Basterd!

When you drive by they are all probably saying

"holy shit, look at the size of that"

I just went back and looked at the pics and I always thought you did have a 4X, I guess I wasn't paying attention as it is obvious if your lookin.

Bad ass truck though really... I am jealous.

I have a long commute to work on two lane black top so I can't sky jack it way up, I'll just level it and be happy. Unless someone can convince me that it will ride the same with a 6" lift on it....
