Had My Supercharger Installed At My Toyota Dealer, Which Took Approximately 15 Hours. This Was Their First Supercharger Install, Which Included 2 Hours Of "testing" By The Service Manager, All The Techs, And The Owner Of The Dealership.

Last Time I Enjoyed Such A Ride Was On The Cyclone Roller Coaster In Coney Island When I Was About 13. We Shut Off The Traction Control And It Still Kicked In.

As Far As I Know, This Is The Only Tundra With A Supercharger In Upstate Ny As Of July 1. I Am Going To Get It On A Dyno Next Week To Find Out Actual Performance Data.

Changed The Plate On The Truck To: Trd505hp

How much was the install? I took mine in today for install and they won't have it bakc until tomorrow late afternoon. That sounds about like the 15 hours yours took. My dealer quoted me $800 for install. I'm guessing they gave me a break, if they actually take 15 hours to install it I'm gonna need a divorce attorney right after I spend the extra labor.

The total cost parts and labor was $6800 @ $108 ph. I kept this kinda quiet as far as my gf was concerned. Simple explanation to her when she asked about the new sound on acceration was: Ah, I had a high performance air filter system installed, lol! well, it was the truth............in a distorted way. The next day, she got a short hairdo, cuz she complained riding in my truck blew her hair back, I wonder why.......I suppose she will go out and buy a wonder bra now due to the new g-force riding in the truck. So, add that to the expense of the supercharger also.
I figure I will have a custom decal made to put on the tailgate:

I decided to replace the TRD OFF ROAD decal on the rear side of the truck with something else. We are just removing the "OFF ROAD part of that decal and replacing it with 505 HP with the words SUPERCHARGER below that. On the hood, the edge closest to the wipers, centered, will read supercharged with a ghost effect shade below that. It will be done next week and I will post pics of it soon after its installed.

On full throttle from a dead start, the rear did kick out, along with some buzzer noise from the traction control warning light.

One pleasant side effect at full throttle that my gf found to be very true here is that bra's are totally useless. We tried it both ways, with and without a bra, as she got curious after reading the warning label posted here.

I think we should submit the warning label to the tv series Myth Busters to find out if its really true or just an exception as far as my gf is concerned.
