Your girlfriend has good taste... Where did she get those fender flares? I wouldn't mind installing a set of those on my truck.

Hi there, they actually fit well, no need for spacers, but the wheel sticks out about 2". My BF had to cut the fender liner and I took the truck to get the body mount cut and weld so I wouldn't have rubbing. It all depends on your preferred tire size. I didn't want to choose a smaller tire.

BTW, I bought the Fender Flares from Sparks Toyota and had them shipped. Ask for Ken @ internet parts.

Im looking at the 305/65 R18 and was wondering what they did to the gas mileage? I know the BFG's are pretty heavy tires to begin with. They look awesome. Did you find any other LT tires in this size? Does the truck have any lift? Leveling Kit?

is all this necessary? i wanna get these wheels with regular street tires, so would i have to do the body mods? would i need to get the flares?

I get about 2 mpg worse than the stocks, but these wheels are lighter than the stocks. That's something to think about. My buddy, also has 18's but he's on Nitto's Terra G's which has to be replaced every 25K miles.

I had to get all the mods done because the offset on the wheel is different from the stock wheels and the tires are significantly taller than stocks. The truck is actually lifted 3".

Thanks Tundra_girl, maybe I'll see you somewhere on the streets. Us girls gotta stick together. LOL

2MPG's? Ouch, not sure I could do that. Looks awesome though. Maybe something other than the BFG which would be lighter. Or doing a smaller size; BFG's are hard to beat.

I wish I could afford a set of volks for the trundra and the dsm I absolutely love these wheels and I bet they are close to being the same weight as the stock setup volks te37's are extremely light I'd say it's just the height of the tire causing you to get 2mpg worse mileage.

Like my Dad said when I first bought the truck, if you can afford the payment, you can afford the gas....he got me there.
You're probably right about the height, it can also be that the odometer/speedometer may not be accurate. I love my wheels too.
