All Volant exhaust systems are 100% 304 SS. The 2007 Tundra will be availlable in 2-3 weeks. They are not built by JBA. They are built by an OEM manufacturer.

I personally went with a Flowmaster 50 SUV muffler, pn# 524554. I love the sound, absolutely 0 drone at any speed, and definitely noticeable on acceleration. Id dare any catback to compete with the price i paid also. Sound clip below...

We are a supporting vendor here and on other forums and we do pay to beable to advertise and sell our products to members like yourself. I think Zoomers Tundra was just trying to explain the differences in materials used and why one is superior to the other. Ps: Branding of a product is important in this market place and to set yourselves apart from the norm is a good thing. We could have put the word "Flow" in our name like everyone else or called it Arlasky Exhaust, but Zoomers flows off the toung a little better, don't you think...

I went the Flowmaster 50 route with a ss tip for cost and love the sound. If I had the extra cash, my wife and 3 kids make sure I don't lol, I'd go Zoomers.

PS, It doesn't bother me that Zoomer jumps in on these messages, just my 2 cents.

Question for Zoomers, I have heard and read that true Duals will reduce performance due to the reduced back pressure. Is this a fact and if so how does your system handle it?

I spoke with a Volant rep and it looks like the exhaust will be available in October. I already have the volant intake installed and think it makes sence to use a matching system. I am sure the zoomers system is great and would work wonders same with the JBA system but feel having a matching intake and exhaust is more critical such as port matching your heads to your intake.

just my opinion,

The only thing you have to worry about with duals is if the pipes are too large. Reducing unwanted back pressure is not a bad thing, but I wouldn't go any bigger than 2.25" pipes on a dual system for the Tundra engine. To me true duals are two separate mufflers with an h-pipe or x-pipe crossover. I think you'll find most if not all the dual systems out there are two in and two out of a single Muffler using 2.5" pipe. The crossover is designed inside the muffler, so not really a true dual , but more for just looks. Our 3" single system would be the equivalent to a true dual 2.25" system .

I don't mind Zoomers marketing their product on the board. They are a supporting vendor and they do have superior a (albeit more expensive) product as far as quality goes.

It's a free market and if you're really taken aback by their marketing, then just don't buy their product. It's more annoying to see people complain about it.

I personally like the competition and would like to see JBA or whoever try to argue with Zoomers and/or a similar company that makes a similar product.

Zoomers, not only has a great product, but they are also very well educated about what they do, from my experience they are helpful and their customer service rocks. I know that my truck will be getting one soon, (x-mas gift for myself, lol) WIth anything in the car and truck world you get what youpay for.

ZOOMERS will you guys be at SEMA?

just my opinion,

It's good to have an opinion but if your opinion was to hold water then Zoomers should develop an an intake to match and K&N should make exhaust. While matching your heads to your intake manafold is critical it's not necessary to use the same brand. While Edelbrock might make everything for your engine I'd much rather have a Holly Carb and a set of Brodex heads along with my Edelbrock intake for my hod rod. So mixing and matching is just fine but picking the best products, although hard, should be your main goal.

I like the burble of the Flowmaster 70.

and I would not even consider the Zoomers now. I don't care if you are a supporting vendor. There's informing and there's pimping. Pimping should be left to the vendors forums.

I really like the JBA that I put on my truck and it only cost me $400.00.

I purchased it from the guy below and he had six left on the shelf when I purchased mine.

Why the harsh words on the Zoomers guys? Pimping? I don't see it, they've been nothing but informative and no one I've spoken to knows more about their products than Ron at Zoomers. Give em a break, remember without supporting vendors we wouldn't have these forums to spout off, now would we...
