Unichip or Wait?

It's cool to see that a few people have installed the Unichip (I can't wait for someone to post before and after dyno's). Are some of you waiting for another brand-name to come out with a tuner or, based on pending dyno info, would the Unichip be a good option?

I do to, just for the reason that they are the only option at this point, nothing to compare it to. Is that what you're thinking SRT8Tundra or do you have some other reasoning?

Forgot to tell you sweet sig man. I think I told you this before but your ride makes me think whether or not I should take my bug-shield off. Your front-end looks awesome!

Yeah me too. I'm waiting for a plug and play programmer like from superchips or hypertech. I've had both brands in the past and was very happy with them

Yep, that's what I needed to hear. I can't imagine it will be much longer before S.Chips or H.tech has something for this truck.

I sent an inquiry to Edge and they replied that they are working on one for the Titan and that the new Tundra would be next. They said usually 6 mo. start to finish.

Is the Edge programmer a piggy back or is it a reflash?

I'm going to wait. I've seen people use the Unichip on Subarus, because it was the only thing available when the WRX came out. Every time the weather changed, they'd have to retune. In fact, I don't know anyone who hasn't switched away now that other EM solutions are working. Grated, it's a turbo H4 vs an NA V8, but still.

Are the UniChips still 16-bit?

I'll be looking for something that can control the valve timing, shift points, and things I haven't imagined for this truck yet.

At least wait for someone or should I say a few people to post some dyno results of before and after.
