Tuners...

With all the discussions about upcomming tuners...no one has mentioned making sure the tuner builders do some kind of shift improvements. I feel that the transmission on my truck shifts too smooth especially when towing. I had a hypertech tuner for my old chevy and you could change the shift firmness to the point of chirping the tires on shifts. Kind of fun but the GF didnt like it much!!
If we get more HP wouldnt getting that to work in the tranny be a good thing too?????

Good point. I was just thinking that today again as I don't really like the shifting pattern. If I get on it even slightly while in full auto, third gear seems to have way too long of legs. It doesn't want to shift till 4 plus k. Of course it can be driven mellow and it will shift far sooner than 70 mph but I've always driven things on the hard side and I would definitely think about some transfer tune.
