I see mention of the flowmasters killing bottom end power but It's not clear if this happens on a single out with stock sized piping. I believe the muffler itself is a 3" exit but I'd like to hear from those who necked it down to fit stock.
I have exactly what you described and have had absolutely no noticeable low end drop in power. In tow mode I can smoke tires on demand and the super 50 sounds great with the stock pipe.
As stated above there is a slight drone at around 60 but nothing bothersome at all. Not towed yet but had the exact same exhaust on my 2010 CM and towed extensively with it..... nothing worth mentioning as far as any exaggerated drone.
I have the super 50 dual in/dual out on my truck (not exactly what you asked about) and I think it drives the same as it did before I got it put on. I like the sound, not too loud, but definitely gives it a nice rumble. Mine is noticeable inside the cab around 55-60mph, but it's not anything crazy or annoying. I will say, once I get up to 65-70mph on the highway, it mellows out and sounds like stock. I can actually hear the wind noise and tires over the exhaust, and I have AT's. I haven't towed with mine either.
