Whats up everyone. So I just sold my 2001 tundra and upgraded to a 2007 5.7 double cab and looking to do the normal mods to it. I had a K&N FIPK on my old tundra and hated it and ended up going withe the K&N drop in and the RAPS ram air kit. So my problem is I was about to do this to my stock air box, opened the hood and realized theres no room to do anything really. I saw the idea on here of the second inlet, but dont know if I'm ready to taka a saw to my truck quite yet. I'm not looking for a CAI(a lotta mixed opinions) ordered a drop in trueflow from autopartswarehouse and was just told from a friend that it wont fit our trucks. Anyone know if this is right? I read about a guy who did a couple mods like shaving off the ribs in the upper part of the box and drilling a hole in the bottom, but didnt find to much about results. Any help or info u guys have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
