Anyone seen a drop off in gas mileage with this intake? Out of the Airaid, Volant and aFe, I get the best performance but worst gas mileage.

I've seen about a 1 mpg drop from my Volant. When I had my factory intake in, it was about 2.5 mpg higher. I love the throttle response and the way it makes my Borla sound, so I'm going to keep it, but that's only because I drive about 150 miles a week.

I have an afe on my truck. I thought about it but I put the trim seal on the afe box and it seemed to seal against the firewall just fine. I just didnt want to cut up my stock box.

But if you dont care about cutting up the stock box knock yourself out.

I noticed a 2mpg increase with my afe intake. When I first installed it I noticed a drop probably because my foot was always in it.

Reading thru this thread I saw some discussions on a ram air set up and that Keystone was to be in the works of building one. I came across this company and was wondering if anyone has put one of these on and if so wanted to here how it is and if it's worth the $$. Part that sounds interesting is that it mentions the AFE filter so not sure if it works with the CAI or if just using an AFE filter on their own design and set up. Here is the addy:

Look up "MarkyMark", he has this set up or something close to it.
