I have ordered the TRD CAI but haven't even looked at the cover yet.

Ramoine-What are you using to hold it on raised up higher?

thanks for all your info and help. It seems you have already tried the idea I thought might work by clocking the tube a little. It seems the only alternative is to let it rub or cut it out. I think I will let it rub when I do it unless I can find a better way. I have definitely noticed a drone in my TRD dual exhaust between 60-65 mph and is louder under a load than not. Does adding the TRD CAI increase this drone as it is increasing the airflow or does it help to minimize it?

thanks for your info and help also. Based on your info and info from other sources I feel that you can probably expect a HP gain of 20+ at the flywheel with the 5.7 engine and both TRD mods, CAI/Dual Exhaust.
