Newb With A Question
Hello everyone. I have a few questions. After scanning through previous posts, I have decided to purchase the 22" magnaflow muffler and have it welded to my stock pipes. Is this what is recommended? Also, is there any benefit to a cold air intake. I do not want to lose too much low end torque. If they are beneficial, what brand is recommended? Lastly, I would like to get an exhaust tip. What do you recommend?
Thank you in advance. Oh, I have an '08 5.7L..... |

I just put a Volant Cold Air Intake on my 08 Tundra DC/LB 5.7. I love it. Way too new to tell you MPG increases but the performance increase is great. It sounds a lot better too.
I am also looking at the Magnaflow. They don't make a complete exhaust system for my DC/LB so I might have to do the same as you. My in-laws all run Magnaflow and they swear by them. |
