superchip is supposed to be coming out with one in the third quarter of this year. i went to the shop that did most of my work and they called superchips for me while i was standing right there in front of them. they were estimating 30 to 50 horsepower and about 1 to 2 mpg

Col deal man, wish they would come out with one soon especially if it increases both mileage and power, that would be awesome

Not to be negative but I'll be surprised if those claims come to fruition. Toyota tunes their motors very well and their systems usually don't except chips. Maybe the Tundra system is different, who knows?

Agreed! Thats why toyotas rarely have chips available for them.

Would be nice though...

It is because Toyota ECU's have never been easily cracked or easily interfaced for tuning. That is why stand alones are so popular with the turbo crowds...

ANyone hear of or use one of the intake system IAT sensors that seem to be selling cheaply on e-bay? they claim to increae mpg and HP by changing the temp that is sent to computer. I'm a novice at this stuff but i am trying to get a little better mpg out of the truck. I have an 07 Crewmax 5.7 with 33,500 miles and still only running about 16 on highway. Also when towing my 23' ulta light toy hauler the mileage goes down th crapper. I'm averaging about 7 mpg.

TennTom - they use them on some Chevy stuff - they work a little for throttle response but it won;t get you any mpg i don't think since it relocates a IAT and gives more fuel according to the lower temp...

I will be patient a wait for a larger name vendor to come out with somthing.
Kind listen to the Gunea Pig's First ad then make my decision . I will be excited to recieve and install the Zoomer Catback I just purchased another 20-HP , and probably Top it off with an AFE Air Intake, And then sit back and wait for the supercharger to be released.
