TRD Cabin drone

I have the TRD dual exhaust that came with the truck.

Does anyone know how to reduce the cabin drone at 60 - 65mph?

I think any after market louder exhaust is going to have more cabin drone than stock. Hell, I noticed a bit (very minor) of cabin drone with stock exhaust & a drop in k & n filter & carbon filter removal.

Any exhaust is going to drone. That fine line that is our tolerance is what determines a drone.

My Borla, IMO doesn't drone. I LOVE that sound at 60-65 mph. Yes, it's loud, but it's not droney. I've heard drone, and it's not pleasant. Heard it tonight in a parking garage from a loud (probably) Flowmaster.

Every exhaust is going to drone a bit. Mark said he heard a bit of drone with the stock exhaust. I personally didn't hear it. Catchin' my drift? It's all personal opinion.

Welcome to the site btw.

And since I reread the original post, I shall try and answer it. I guess you could throw a resonator on there or put a longer muffler on there.

Easy fix push Tow/Haul. It changes the RPMs at 60mph

I have the TRD duals on my 2007 Tundra Doublecab 5.7l and don't notice any drone what-so-ever. The cab is completely quiet at any speed or RPM. What year, motor, etc do you have the system on?
