What exhaust & intake does everyone have? why?

I just want to get a variety of opinions on why some people chose a certain intake and/or exhaust. thanx ahead for any and all responses.
Also if possible please post of any initial or constant problems w/ either mods.

This should obviously be a sticky. everyone asks the same question. Lets make this simple for all of us and have a poll. That way those of us who dont have and intake or exhaust yet know what to get and for what reasons.

Tony,

I am running a Banks Monster Exhaust on my 06' 4.7. Love it, not too loud, but when you get into it it has a nice deep roar. Still trying to decide what intake to purchase!!!!!

AFE with Borla XS complete Duals utilizing 4" SS Rolled/Angled tips. Used Borla on last 3 trucks. First time using AFE or any CAI. This is for mpg. Depending on what mph onto which mpg you would get. At 60 mph I got 22.5mpg. I would say not bad for a big block engine, and a 7,000lb truck.

TRD C.A.I. because I wanted to stay with a Toyota part. Custom duals with Flowmaster mufflers out under the back bumper with SS tips.. Because I have used Flowmaster in the past and liked them. If your looking for sound with the C.A.I. go with another brand. Didnt notice too much difference in sound with the TRD. But am still happy with it.

Flomaster 40 series True duals. Not loud with doors closed and windows up. Sounds nice outside the truck.

Flowmaster 50 series, dumped at rear axle, custom intake....work in progress! I have always liked the way flowmaster's sounded, had em before so i picked em for my tundra, plus it was only 180 dollars installed.

Say Hell To My Little Friend!!!

Well I Just Picked Up My Banks Monster Exhaust Yesterday, My Volant Cold Air Intake And As For My Custom Made #1 Bbk Performance Headers For My Tundra I Will Get Those In A Month When They Call Me Back To There Shop To Dyno My Truck. I Wont Install Any Of The Othe Parts Till The Day I Put It On The Dyno! Because I Wanna Dyno The Truck By Itself Without The Exhaust And Cai Just Headers Then Dyno The Truck With All Of Them!!!

By The Way To Everyone That Says The Stock Headers That Come On The Truck Are Great I Saw Mine When They Cameoff To Make The Measurements And There A Piece Of Crap And The New Ones Bbk Is Making Is Gonna Be Well Worth The Money Trust Me!

Zoomers on the way. Stock intake with 2nd filter (charcoal thingy) cut out. As far as the stock exhaust manifolds - they are exceptional for a stock piece but obviously aftermarket will be better but probably not much since it will still be short tue and TQ is in the long tube design...

K&N Intake, chose it cause I have used there products for years on many different application and they have always performed great and reliably.

Exhaust I held out for the new ProForce, wanted something a bit different with performance in mind, knowing who was preducing it, it was worth the wait. Performance is great and it is a great mix of performance with the street in mind, not to loud and almost no drone
