I also put foam weather stripping on the wheel well where the box sits, this made the box completely stable.
Okay, installation complete. I just needed a clear, alcohol-free mind I guess. I put that piece of weather stripping around the hole of the intake box instead of along the opening of the wheel well. It still stabelized it but I'm sure your way is the correct way. Makes more sense. Mickey, did you put that weather stripping around the wheel well opening or the opening of the housing that goes into the wheel well opening??? Should I take it out and fix it??? I"ll post some audio clips tomorrow. YOu start hearing the throaty rumble when you hit 2000 RPM while moving. You wont hear it when you just hit the gas in park.

No I didn't use that just the bolts from the original box were shorter than the ones from AFE. I had to put the foam type gasket on the wheel well and the piece that connects to the box just fits in. I wish you luck and I'm sure you got it done. It just took me longer than it should have because I wanted it on right away. Let me know how it goes along with pics. Still waiting for thos Halo LED Projection Headlights. They should be in by Tuesday.

Yea, I got it man. As soon as I figured out what that weather stipping thing was for, I was good to go. It helped stabelize the box. ONly thing is that I put the weather stripping on the housing opening instead of the wheel well cut out. Not sure if it really matters so I might just leave it as is. It fit nice and snug.

Long as you got a snug fit. I was totally about that area because nothing explain that weather strip. Having to go back and undo just to put it on made me go for a Michelob Ultra. As for the back up camera Saturday when I went to work it worked perfectly and right side up...Go figure....
