Noticed on E-bay that there are different perf. chips available, any experiences or opinions out their???

thpse are generic ones that are rip offs and would prob do more harm than good. there is not a tuner out yet for the tundra.

uni chip is working on a plug and plasystem but as for a tuner you simply plug into obd port you will never find one for a toyota and unichips piggy back system will release for 950 give or take 100 bucks or so

I would be surprised if Superchips, Hyperchip, or Diablo won't have one in the near future. Just don't jump on the first one, because someone will have a better one as soon as you buy one.

when I first start my 2002 v8 it has a banging noise that sounds like valves without oil. Does any one know if that is normal . I have 93,000 have not change timming belt. Randy

I too have a 2002 Tundra V8 and have the same problem. It is more noticeable on very cold mornings. Only last for about 5 seconds, then goes away. Reading other places in the Forum, we are not the only ones with this problem.

A programmer will not void the warranty, if you run into problems revert it biack to factory settings and you will be fine, dyno tuning is the way to go, with a wideband.
