Exclamation

Kinda of ridiculous if ya ask me. Sounds like theres some blame to spread around to all parties involved. But honestly, theres some due-diligence required on the part of the customer as well, and after re-reading this topic, there seems to be a definite lack of it. The last tidbit that didn't seem to come out in the beginning was a 3rd party's involvement, i.e. Massive, which actually handled the transaction.

Like I said, theres some blame to spread around, but you guys hammering on JBA, and piling the entire SNAFU on them isn't particularly fair.

Havabier - so heres how I under stand this - you got your refund minus a restock fee that was associated by Massive Speed which is whom you had bought the headers from origionally? Which I know Steve and Carl both explain FULLY whenever a refund is issued, this is nothing JBA has any control over.

I still don't under stand why when you had not seen the call tag in your email after a few days origionally you did not call us back and ask for it - instead you go over 7 days with no contact? Might have spead up the process a bit - it is not our fault you did not contact myself or Alex if you had not received the call tag after a few days - common sense would have probably said contact us somehow - and you finally sent me a PM after a week and a half and you finally found the call tag in your junk email file, then it was close to another week and a half before we even saw the parts back in house.

I myself as well as the rest of my staff have attempted to help you on multiple occasions, and your refund was not something JBA was in charge of since you did not purchase the product from us which we explained to you at least 3-4 times.

JBA has a very simple Performance guanantee on our products if you are ever dis-satisified with the performance of the product you can return them, simple as that

If anyone has any questions my contact info has always been publically available to anyone on this fourm, here in the office. And I have been availble through PM's on this fourm and about 50+ others i work with.

Brad, I was going to let this thread get buried by not posting anymore. At least that was my decision before I went on my trip to Europe. But in your response, your facts and demeanor are making me write a rebuttal.

I never talked to a Steve or Carl, the only person that I spoke to was Alex. He NEVER mentioned a restock fee or anything pertaining to that. To be more specific ALEX told me that I was going to get a FULL refund, even shipping, due to the LACK of workmanship on the headers. Specifically the 55,000 GAP!

I myself as well as the rest of my staff have attempted to help you on multiple occasions, and your refund was not something JBA was in charge of since you did not purchase the product from us which we explained to you at least 3-4 times.

Your help which I appreciate, was ONE private message! Yes ONE! After weeks of waiting and several calls to JBA one will consider a single PM "some" help. Wouldn't you agree???

Irrelevant of the $60 some dollars and plenty of time lost, it is the Customer Service (and the Walmart Headers) that I received from JBA what I am disgusted with. And now your last post...? Hmmm!

Brad, remember that you as an employee will try to do everything within your capacity to satisfy your customers. A happy customer means returning business tenfold. And believe me, I know, I am in a customer oriented field and take care of thousands of customers a month while in COMPLETE charge of 50 million dollar equipment.

Well enough said and everyone make a sound decision when modding these AWESOME trucks, and thanks to all for the comments.

So in the end analysis... you bought something you didn't really want, from some shady ebay business and then came here and bashed the manufacturer repeatedly........

Does that pretty much sum it up?

Smed, U on sMEDS?

Something I did not really wanted? OK... Whatever! I wanted a GOOD set of headers for my nice Tundra.

Shady eBay business? Massive is a huge distributor of HP parts in the Midwest and has over 4300 positive feedback on eBay.
eBay Feedback Profile for massive_speed_system

Bashed the manufacturer repeatedly? I received a set of DEFECTIVE headers. The gap in excess of 50,000 will NEVER seal. Inferior workmanship for definitely more leaks in the near future. Have you seen the pictures? And after taking a month to even get a return label and two+ months to get a partial refund? Bashing? Posting here was the only way to get a partial refund. Yes!

You might consider educating yourself prior to such an irrational post like you just did. It just does not show a good intellectual capacity or level of education.

Have a great day and stay on 'em MEDs

Yep, I think that summed it up.
Now can you do some more word tricks?? This time can you rearrange the letters to make something more insulting? Can you make something really stupid and immature like haveabeer?
Quit being a friggin jerk and admit that you dicked those headers up when you installed them with a crescent wrench and a crowbar!

(yeah - I'm yanking his chain, but I think he enjoys the attention)
