I also had a bad experience with them when I ordered their exhaust for our Tundras. Part did not fit and had a hard time getting them to take it back. Maybe most of their customers are happy and we're just the few that have had bad experiences, who knows.

One week has gone by and not one reply from anyone from JBA... Just to review this ordeal...

WOW!... Just spoke with Steve at Massive and the credit that will be issue is $489 and not $521 as I was told by Alex at JBA! 2 months, over 10 phone calls, 10+ hrs for removal/install and removal, and install of the stock headers back... And now $40 (plus whatever Paypal fee) under...

So like a $50 + time + effort + headache for a BAD EXPERIMENT!!!!! Pathetic!

Here's what I paid:
Jan. 14, 2008 - Cleared - Details - $521.74 USD

Here's what I got back
Mar. 28, 2008 Payment Completed $484.30 USD -$14.34 USD $469.96 USD $469.97 USD

So I paid $521.74 and received a FULL (NOT) refund of $469.97.

A NET LOSS of $51.77

I gave you several months to make this right, even a week went by since my last post and no action from you at all.

Thanks a lot JBA!!!

The Stock headers Seem plenty nice, if it Ain't Broke Don;t Fix it This is a real waste of Money here do not buy into it. Stay Stock and Run A nice Catback and your good to Go, Un-less your Goal is sanctuned racing events and then you would go with some long Tube headers , Which will Drone you to Death after your 1-st hour driving with them.
AS far as copies for the Tundra Shorty's that are already stock from factory stay with them, The Subtle Gain that you possibly would notice will be so small that is really is not worth it for the Money- For the Expense of the Installation , or for the Headache it is if your going to be the Man and Labor Out It's a pain un-less you have done it many times and have all the best exact tools needed. So save yourself a Few Bucks here, Wait for the Chips due out soon. I am waiting For the Supercharger personally due out this Summer , for the money and the headache you could have applied it towards a supercharger.
supercharger- A soon to be released programmer , a Catback , Air Intake System , and your Good To Go and have a 500-HP Truck

they're morons, if they would have used the "refund" button, you wouldnt have had to pay the $14 in fees.

Instead, they just sent you a payment so you got hit with the fees.

i guess either way they were losing the same amount and didnt care if you lost an extra $14

a-holes

Wow thought this matter was handeled and again no phone calls just random internet baneter

Havabier - so heres how I under stand this - you got your refund minus a restock fee that was associated by Massive Speed which is whom you had bought the headers from origionally? Which I know Steve and Carl both explain FULLY whenever a refund is issued, this is nothing JBA has any control over.

I still don't under stand why when you had not seen the call tag in your email after a few days origionally you did not call us back and ask for it - instead you go over 7 days with no contact? Might have spead up the process a bit - it is not our fault you did not contact myself or Alex if you had not received the call tag after a few days - common sense would have probably said contact us somehow - and you finally sent me a PM after a week and a half and you finally found the call tag in your junk email file, then it was close to another week and a half before we even saw the parts back in house.

I myself as well as the rest of my staff have attempted to help you on multiple occasions, and your refund was not something JBA was in charge of since you did not purchase the product from us which we explained to you at least 3-4 times.

JBA has a very simple Performance guanantee on our products if you are ever dis-satisified with the performance of the product you can return them, simple as that

If anyone has any questions my contact info has always been publically available to anyone on this fourm, here in the office. And I have been availble through PM's on this fourm and about 50+ others i work with.

Wow...I am sure that there had to have been something else going on confounding the issue here, but I am not sure why the customer has to constantly remind the dealer to get the refund or call tag once it has been decided to do so. Since the call tag was not promptly dealt with, it seems as if you are blaming the customer. Brad, I am sure that this is not what you meant to say. No response is necessary...just a random thought.

I have heard in many other threads that JBA makes a good product; however, I have learned a lot in this thread. Good to see both sides so that consumers can make an informed decision. I wish JBA and Hava the best of luck and hope that this issue can be resolved without additional mud-slinging.

I have shifted my focus back to my supra, but maybe I will enhance the Tundra at a later date.

First off I will make the observation that spelling is not important at JBA, lol sorry it was obvious.

Seems like customer service is weak, and here everyone sees it. I work for one of the largest performance brake companies, as well as run my own business. I understand that JBA is the manufactuer and Massive sold the product and responsible to handle the refund, but in a situation where the products was so defective, I believe that the manufactuer should have stepped in to help buffer the situation.

All in all JBA, not Massive looks bad in this picture.
