Exclamation Need help! Volant intake...

Just installed a Volant CAI on my 07 5.7 2wd. First I installed the sensor backwards and when i cranked the truck, it just turned itself back off. After I realized what i did, I flipped the sensor and it cranked just fine. I ran it some, and it runs just fine, but my check engine light it on, and my VSC OFF light flashes at me all the time.

Whats the deal? Do I just need to give it time to let the computer get used to the new airflow or do I need to go to the dealer? Whats the deal with the VSC light????

I did the same thing when I installed mine. The directions aren't that clear. When I turned mine around it started right up and has run fine, without any warning lights. I don't see how they are related, but that is my opinion devoid of facts

Did you disconnect your battery first? you probably just need to clear/reset the system by doing this.... hope this helps...

I got it - I drove it around for about 50 miles and let it readjust itself, and they all cut off. I did have that thought though....I was going to disconnect the battery again and check it had it not cut off.

Thanks!
