Thumbs down 1st post need help with 4.7 v8

Hello, I Have A 2001 4x4 4.7v8 Tundra, I Have Dual Exhaust And Have Put The K&n Air Filter System On My Truck. I'm Not Very Happy With My Gas Mileage, 13-15 Mpg. Do They Make A Chip For My Truck Or What About A Tunner? Any Ideas On How To Improve My Gas Mileage. Brad

Not sure exactly what your gas mileage is supposed to be. How many miles is on your truck now?

You may need a good tune-up...Oil/Filter (of course) clean air filter, change fuel filter, new plugs and wires, etc...

Make sure your truck is in good running shape, and go from there...

Like Hawaii said, make sure your Spark Plugs are good, no worries on the wires, it is direct fire.

Old fuel filter also makes a difference of the gas. I have a customer with an 01 been doing his maintanence here since he owned the truck (original owner) has 225,000+ miles on it now, runs great no issues. overall he is getting no more than 17 mpg.
