These springs are very tempting.

I have a 08 dc 4x4 and the bed bounce is driving me nuts. Any little joint in the road causes the bed to wiggle.

No, It only dropped 1.5" with the trailer on the hitch and about 600 lbs of gear in the bed. I've now got 10,000+ miles on my truck and still love my SuperSprings. I'll never go back to air bags again.

It sounds to me like the "Super Spring" people are still trying to figure out what works on the Toyota Tundra. First it was the SSA14, which turned out to be bust, then the SSA 11 which is way to much support. Most of the sellers of Super Springs still list the SSA14 as the proper spring for the Tundra. Apparently someones not getting the word. I will be very interested in the outcome of the road experience with the SSA7. Please let us all know. I wonder if the different shackles were a mistake in shipping or was that the intended configuration?

I have experienced some minimal bed bounce however only at certain speeds. I have also seen a newer f150 with bed bounce on the highway at 70-75mph and I was in the tundra and I had none. I know that all frames have an internal frequency that will make them bounce and the preload of the super springs definitely changes that frequency somewhat fixing the problem. A counter acting damper is the only thing that is going to cure the problem. When ford and chevy claim their frame is stronger I say prove it. Torsionally it may be more rigid but that doesn't say strength if it did the superduty and c/k hd trucks would have boxed frames. They don't and they are a lot stronger than any of their 1/2 tons.The 10.5k tow rating has little to do with the ride. The actual bed payload has more to do with it than anything and ours is one of if not the lowest. The springs may have actually been designed a little soft making for a nice highway ride but not so good for bed bounce on slightly larger bumps. I would like to see if the bed bounce problem occurs mostly on trd or non trd equipped trucks because i believe the trd equipped trucks have a slightly higher spring rate? Either way with the good reviews of the supersprings it looks to me like a little heavier spring may actually reduce the problem. If any tundra owner on here has the bed bounce problem they should be contacting toyota directly to speed up the fix screw going through the dealers it takes too long for a manufacturer to make a change when they hear it second hand.

I have a truck camper that I am going to be putting on my 2002 Tundra. The weight is 2000lbs fully loaded. I was curious what was your actual truck load when you saw your 1.5" drop? An estimate would be nice. The camper completely bottoms out my original suspension and want to make sure the super springs will do enough. I want to go with them instead of air bags.

So I read this entire thread hoping to see if this was going to turn out to be the definitive solution to the bedbouce issue and it looks like it just fizzles out.

Did these prove to be as effective as the Deaver Minipak solution that was posted on Tundra Solutions forum? I bought into that fix only to pay to have them installed, the back of my truck about an inch and a half higher and guess what.. BED BOUNCE!. It made no difference like I was led to believe.

Was hoping to get the feel for more confidence from this thread that the SS would do the job..

I ve been looking at adding springs to my 07' to help increase my hauling cap. ive noticed a drop in the rear due to the amount of material i haul on a everyday basis, 1500lbs and a leer full cap. never had a problem with cargo bounce or hop. question is would these super springs help with the load and bring the height back up or would i be better off replacing the springs altogether with a heavier set? any ideas

Spoke with Super Springs this morning and they advised using the SSA11 for commercial purposes (constant heavy loads) and the SSA07 for all other purposes on my 2008 Tundra.

For those who have been asking about the load I carry when the springs are compressed 1.5". I carry 850 to 975 lbs of equipment in the bed and 575 lbs of hitch weight.

Also, the springs do not totally eliminate bed bounce, but in my case they drastically reduced it to where it wasn't a problem. The bed will still shake but it doesn't bounce like it used to.
