Disable traction control

OK, I am a newbie and can't seem to sort this out without a Tech stream and work is not willing to let me borrow one. I just purchased a 2013 4x4 with a TRD S/C installed. My friend has a 2012 with no S/C and he holds the LSD button for 3 sec, 3 times. However my warning lights do not light up like his does. So how do I keep LSD working while eliminating traction control? Thanks..

I am a little nervous about changing wiring just yet, but I will tag that for later, after I get a chance to research more on line and make sure there are no recordings in the computer. Time to play and see what this blower has got
