Acording to their numbers stock put down 311 and at 20% loss means crank means 388 which is almost spot on. Sc put out 387 which at 20% loss would mean 483 which is off.

I didn't catch all the video... Did they mention corrected numbers? If so they've prob adjusted for the DA.

I am refering to the stock sc numbers also, did no one else notice this? Or am I thinking way to far into it. Wife gives me hell for be to damn into these trucks and working on them all damn day.

311 is pretty spot on. I'd chalk it up to te d/a. There's a loss of about 61 hp, and that's across the board, it's not a percentage. I've read several threads that point to that direction. My truck laid down between 316-319 with less than 1000 miles on it and paper plates still.

Idk what to say about the supercharged numbers??

It had to of been compensated for seeing as how the bone stock numbers match up so well.

Ok so 20hp off at the CRANK. Which will equate to about 15-16 or so at the wheels if I were guessing. Still that truck might have a slightly higher drivetrain loss with the wheels /tires.... Like I said their numbers are very reasonable

Supercharged 09-04-2013 09:27 PM

Yes but the NA truck had stock size tires and wheels and the SC Tundra was running a bigger than stock tire. Tire size makes a big difference in power. So i don't think they messed with the numbers. Just my opinion.

Has anyone heard on the autoanything contest?

BLOWN 09-04-2013 09:29 PM

Yeah I guess 20 off would be closer to 16 at the wheels and if thats the case guess I should get smaller wheels, i wish they had let us know more about the 2 sc trucks during the runs so there wouldnt be so many questions. They should have know by now were all bat shit crazy. I know if my truck only put down those numbers id be disapointed, im ready to push it over 5 but all the dyno owners around here either wont answer their phone, cant fit a big truck on, or just dont give trucks the time of day.

I completely agree with this. The first time I took my 2013 to Qualcomm I raced a brand new 2013 rock warrior. I beat him by .2 everytime!! Only difference is the BFG all terrains. It was fun til he got tired of losing and parked his truck. :D

MontanaTundra 09-04-2013 10:39 PM

Can someone who saw it summarize what happened with the na tundra run?

RyteSyde 09-04-2013 10:50 PM

It didn't. The n/a truck had issues and threw a code they hadn't seen yet. Engineers are looking at it
