All cats delete

Well, don't want to hollow it all out since we need them for inspection. But if we replace the four cats with two straight pipes (possible adding a couple of small mufflers there to keep noise level down), with stock header, will this help leaning out the super rich stock map & gains any ponies at all? Will need a URD o2 sim to keep the light off too.

Also, any muffler in place of the cats that will keep the noise level the same? I really want some more flow/lean out the maps but don't need anymore noise. This will be on SC/stock header/ <straight pipe with mufflers?> / Corsa touring catback w/ extra 3" resonator after muffler.

I cut all my 4 cats, got rid of those 2" hidden exhaust pipes in the Y pipe with a new 2.5"
Dough Thorley Long tube headers and thru the factory muffler and 3" outlet w/ URD O2 simulator. It's quiet but with the Cutouts open it sounds like a monster!

I got rid of mine doing the dt headers with the dt cat deleate pipes and urd sims. Still running factory tail section but am a huge fan of being able to return back to stock if need be. Noticed a little low end loss but alot of top end gain, with the sc low end loss is not really an issue. Shoots flames now ha. Only down side is that the exhaust smells horible and it takes way longer for the truck to warm up.

Well I'm concerning about the excess noise without the cats.

Found this guy in Tucson who made one. He doesn't have the resonator or muffler on the test pipe so it's super loud as I expected. I wonder of a couple of small mufflers or resonators solve his issue. I want something like this for better flow without going LT and not too much noise (adding mufflers/resonators).

07-13 Toyota Tundra cat bypass pipes (test pipes) w/o2 simulator (22nd/wilmot)
I had these custom made for my 08 Tundra with the 5.7 engine because i have the supercharger and blew out a cat! These replace both catalytic converters on both sides and the o2 simulator plugs into the rear o2 sensors to send a signal to the computer so you don't throw a code! I had them on for a week but the problem is the truck is too loud now (says my significant other) so i need to sell them now! They open up the exhaust flow considerably!!! The nice thing about this set up is it's designed to bolt right up to the stock exhaust manifold! noone sells any to do that, just to bolt up to long tube headers which i didn't want! so if you (and your wife if you have one) don't mind the increase in exhaust sound this is a nice horsepower add. just trying to recoop my money but all my hardwork is free!..... only asking $350 for everything! that includes the o2 simulator from URD!.....any question please call or text 991-1407

You won't lose power but you will lose gas mileage. It makes a good difference in the sound. Opens up a sound not heard often from these trucks which sounds damn good.

I went with a single VX (knockoff flowmaster 10 series) after reading about how quiet our trucks are. So glad I didn't do the 40 series, the 10 sounds great and isn't too loud. I get at least 1 compliment on my exhaust every week on my job sites since putting it on. My motor is all stock right now except the HC filter has been removed. All exhaust plumbing is stock.
