LT and mid pipes without cats plus catback = super loud.
Sounds like a good thing to me. Hey Keith how much for a catted mid for when the inspection guys want to do their jobs? Thinking I can swap out the non-cat for the cat just for inspection then swich back.

Got the green light from the powers to be aka the wife to get the headers. What are the chance the price will be under $600 for group buy? Second would adding an intake like volant or airaid be a nice add on with the headers and 6 inch bamufflers or will stock intake be fine. Got the ok to buy both.

How does this work without a tune? Every car/truck I've ever owned I was always told if I did anything more than an intake or catback you need to have the vehicle tuned. But with the Tundra tuning isn't easy as far as I know. I've got a flex fuel truck so no supercharger for me. I'd love to go intake, headers, and exhaust, but not if I can't get the full benefit of doing so.

I just dyno'd a 1gen tundra before and after long tubes with full race exhaust. The a/f ratios were unchanged afterwards. My customer drove his truck for about 2 weeks before the 'after'. This gave the truck time to 're-learn' and add fuel trim as necessary. How does 33hp sound???non vvti!!!
The tundra ecu is very advanced. It's adaptive memory is more advanced than many other vehicles. It'll learn what it's gotta do in order to keep a/f where Toyota put it. You NEED these headers
