Currently I run emptied out glass packs with a y pipe dumped at the axle. About to be changed to no cats and an x pipe over axle

I second the BAMuffler, I am still very happy with mine...it looks like they are getting close to another group buy too if you can get in on it and save yourself some cash.

BAMUFFLER installed

My advice... Ride in a Tundra with an aftermarket exhaust first. A lot of people like the sound from the outside, but soon find the highway drone unbearable. Me personally, I'm keeping the stocker in mine. The engine is specifically tuned for the exhaust that's already on it.

^ drone es no Bueno.but Keith builds and sends a helmholtz resonator that completely gets rid of all the drone.

TRD is a good choice if you want it loud after 3000rpm. The way I see it there's gonna be days you want it quiet. Unless you're 18.

TRD is awesome. Sweet sound, no drone. The only downside is the price. But you get what you pay for, as they say.

I was looking for a new exhaust for quite awhile. Heard some people say the trd is too quiet. It is quiet when you want it quiet, which is at idle and cruising on the highway(no drone). Give it some throttle and its quite loud. When i first had it installed, i gave it some throttle and thought that maybe the exhaust was leaking, it was that loud. I cant see anyone wanting anything any louder. It looks and sounds awesome, especially with the S/C. Just my 2 cents
