Well one thing about it there is more room with the electric cooling fans, you can actually work on stuff without draining the cooling system and removing shroud, or you could do it all at ounce.

Well I just talked to my buddy who is the service manager at my Toyota dealer & he told me when I asked "what fan kit, that comes on those right??" Pretty much said as long as the truck is not overheating because of the fans or lack of air movement that he has no issue with it being there. Now I just need to wait and see some long term mpg improvements and ill purchase one

^^^ Hopefully by early January I will have everything installed. Not sure I will get the chance to take it on a prolonged HWY trip but if I do.. Know that I will be posting everything I can.

Thanks. I'm buying it simply for the mpg help, but I need to see something long term to gauge weather spending $500 + is worth it.

I really think that I have the assembly exactly the way I want it, with out making it to complicated, if there was a pin on the ECU that controls fans like the Silverado we could save over a hundred dollars on the kit, but no such luck!

My Tundra is a Daily driver, so it won't be long to find out if its helping or not.. If my wife notices a difference in performance and noise levels..... the kit will be twice as awesome to me..

I can promise you that you won't tell the difference between your car and your truck, the Tundra will not sound like a farm truck any longer and this new controller is very smart as I have already done some testing with my Toyota Techstream program on my laptop. The Dc controller only applies the RPM needed to accomplish cool down and maintains temps very accurately.

Here is an update of the assembly for Vettelover84, it took every bit of an hour to put together as the parts getting cut out is saving me alot of time, just waiting on the overlflow tank, (that will be here today) and the controller that is getting hand build as we speak.

Texasranger, you wouldn't happen to be located here in Texas would you? I am almost tempted to drive to you and pick one of these up.
