Anyone know what year/model hood scoop that is off of?
I think I shall copy this. Looks bad ass!
I know it's from a Subaru.
It's a very common scoop on many Subarus. Foresters and Outbacks... You can google "stock Subaru hood scoop" and look at the images. There's two styles (I think that's all) of stock scoops... both are functional. These things are really easy to find.

Just as a random idea, has anyone ever thought of using the fog lights as a hole for a cold air intake? Like, how the intake is in the headlight on this Subie. This thread just got me thinking.

There are about 4 hood scoops you can find for Subarus.
The Legacy/Outback style, which I believe is what he used:
The 02-07 WRX hood scoop:
08-Present WRX Hood scoop:
The STI hood scoop, which is about 1" or 2" taller than the WRX:
Hope this helps with anyone wanting to do this mod, but I felt obligated to make the distinction. Before this, I had an 07 WRX , so I know a thing or two about Subarus
Before I made a scoop functional, I think measuring pressure/vacuum at the opening would tell you if it would help.
As far as looks, it is badass. There is a fiberglass hood locally on CL and it doesn't look anywhere as nice.
