it is a group buy, $269 shipped to your door, or in my case, installed on my truck. tell Danny you got his name off the "tundra forum", that's the code words.

just got back from volant. looks and sounds good. filter is pretty impressive, dont have to change it for 150,000 miles. i read a few of you have had to take a dremel and modify the top of the engine shroud. ive included pictures, because i think they may have come up with a fix, they screwed in extended bolts that the shroud sits on, i dont think i need to cut it. what do u guys think?

Looks really familiar... :D

I didn't have to modify my engine cover either. I'm guessing like you said that the extenders took care of that problem.

check all the fittings, screws, and sensor plugs, make sure everything is snug, maybe try a ecu reset by disconnecting the battery terminal cables for 20 min, then drive it see if it comes back. ive had mine on for almost a week now, no problems at all. runs and sounds great.

Got my Volant a week ago last Friday. Just got a chance to install it last night. I LOVE IT and it sounds BAD A** when you put your foot in it. Install went smoothly, only suggestion i have for Volant is to lighten up the pictures they use with the instructions other than that GREAT PRODUCT SO FAR.

OK... Just ordered my CAI also from Danny! $269. shipped. Did have to tell him I got the info from the "Tundra Forum" Looking forward to it getting here!

Ok, So I installed my CAI last night, went ok, the pictures on the instructions were lousy but easy enough to just figure out, and the screws didn't line up all that well on the cover, and on putting the two large pieces together.... But it sounds GREAT! Overall I am happy with my purchase, but it seems like this intake might have been for another truck, but it "kinda" worked for the 5.7 so they sell it as a Tundra intake...

I got off the phone with Danny a little while ago....lol, y'all aren't kidding about the "secret phrase." I felt like I was talking to the gate keeper, lol. When I said I had seen pricing for the intake he told me that I should be aware of the price. I then stated it was 2 something as I couldn't recall directly and I wanted to know if the deal was still going on for Tundra Talk. The Gate Keeper gladly informed me of the price to the door, lol. Looking forward to buying it on Monday...THANKS Danny!

want to elaborate on this?

Sure thing... let me start by saying I am happy with the purchase, and if I had it to do over, I would buy it again.

The intake fits, but at the same time it doesn't. The engine cover/shroud doesn't fit properly with this on, yes they send you a bolt extender now so you either dremel the engine cover to fit, or you can use the bolt extender and have a slightly lopsided cover... Also where it takes the cold air from the wheel well area, it doesn't really line up 100% with the opening in the fender that the Toyota filter used. And then there is a foam pad that "seals" the intake to the inside of the fender.
