Line X Xtra - Color Matched in Silver Sky!! - TundraTalk.net

Ok guys, I was gonna post this in the "what have you done to your Tundra this week" thread but I figured I would get a lot of questions and discussion on this one so I posted it in a new thread instead. This liner was installed at Line X San Antonio and they used the Toyota color code to match it to my truck. They also stated to me that they have begun color matching on nerf bars, bumbers, grills, etc....and they look great in the pics. I am going to get the NFab nerfs in the future and if I don't like the Polished stainless look....I will definitely get them Line X'd and color matched. Ok here are the pics of my bedliner....but excuse the little bit of dirt in the bed as I just got back from vaction and went straight to work!!

Also, the sun was shining very bright for these pics so some of them look darker than others...was giving my camera fits against the metallic reflection of the bed.

In the 1st and last pics you can see the true color of the bedliner. The darker pics are just due to the camera adjusting to the ambient lighting. I love the silver bedliner and would do it again for another truck....if I ever buy one!!

I am sure it can....they just take the code off your driver side door sticker and order the exact color to mix in with the Line X. Get the Line X Xtra to get the Nationwide Lifetime warranty from fading and damage. You will need that if you go with Blue on the liner....just to protect your truck incase for some reason it actually fades a bit.

Hey TC, is that the shop on Babcock road? If so it's right down the street from where I work. How much was it, if you don't mind me asking, and how long did it take? They are one of only two or three dealers here that spray the Xtra and I've been wondering how their work was, but I never looked into it much cuz I don't have the cash to do right now. Probly gonna do the bed in black to save the extra money, but thinking about spraying the bumpers in red to match the truck.

Yes, it was the shop on Babcock Rd!! Price was $399 for the Line X, $200 for the Xtra (color matched in Silver Sky) + tax. I delivered my truck on Monday morning @ 11AM and came back Tuesday morning at 9AM to pick it up. I was staying at Schlitterbahn while they did my truck. As for the time it took, they only do the color matched Line X after 2PM each day and it requires an overnight stay in their closed shop to properly cure. They did a great job and had great customer service!!

So $600 total, that's not bad at all for the color matched with Xtra. I thought it was around a $200 charge to add Xtra and another charge for the color matched. Did they tell you what the price would have been for just the Xtra?

Wow, nicely done! When I got the truck, Xtra wasn't available for like 4 months. I was like you gotta be kidding. I already started scratching the bed all up. I will say Line-X is definitely the way to go

I think it's the same price man. I didn't enquire about just Xtra by itself. He didn't ask me questions about seperating the 2 either. He just said it's $200 for the Xtra in Silver Sky (code 1D6)

Cool, thanks. Really wasn't worried about the price so much cuz I don't have a very big choice of dealers. Mainly wanted to make sure they did good work. I don't mind paying the money if the work is top notch.

The only other Line X dealer in TX that I know of that does the color matching is in Dallas/Ft. Worth area....you don't have much of a choice there if you want the color. They did a great job on "my" truck man, but I can't speak of any other work they have done.

Look in the first pic I posted...there is a phone number on that badge in my bed. Call them and ask...couldn't hurt. I can't give you a confirmed answer on that one.
