Dog barrier for double cab

Hi everybody in dogville! I have two BIG dogs who I want to keep securely in the back seat. I have bucket seats with a fixed console. Any recommendations?

Train them to stay back there. I have 2 Blue Heelers and the only time they come up front is when I get out of the truck.

I have not seen any type of temporary barrier on the internet for our trucks.

Mine stays in back while driving but I did not want her in front when I park and leave so I custom made this barrier. It did not take long. Used the center console bolts at bottom and the at top of console I drilled and used aluminum nutserts to put two more anchors in. It keeps her in back and can be easily removed if needed.
This is a first gen:

I'd get a cop car barrier. they should be big enough and with a little fabbing, you'd be all set. My dog can climb over the back of the seats and get in the front.

She's a German Shorthair, she won't climb over the seats. Although she would fit.

Waiting to go for a ride:

They were expensive. This cost me about $20 in steel bar and paint. Makes some of my hunting buddies feel right at home back there. All they need is the handcuffs.

Opening the console cover works good when I'm not in the truck. When I'm in the truck, my elbow works well

I'm interested in the same thing .

Also does anyone know of any good rear seat covers or anything for a CrewMax? My Chocolate Lab loses hair like there's no tomorrow and right now I just have a blanket drapped over the rear seat but it looks like hell. Looking for something that is an actual tailored fit for the rear seat.

Man I love my dog...........but hE STINKS NO MATTER HOW MANY TIME YOU WASH HIM AND THE TRUCK WHERE HE LAYS IT STILL STINKS.

I had an F/J Cruiser and I pretty much sold it so I could put Bruno in da back of the Tundra under the cap with no worries.

Just my 2 cents....Over

What cap do you have and how do you like it? Does the window open to the cab?
